Leopards are eating his face. Did this "genius" not realize that the GOP is THE party of fossil fuels.

Susan Collins should be "very concerned" about a Dem coming for her seat in 2026.

A nice reminder of the immense power contained in saying “no.” When people refuse to comply, it raises the costs ($$$, political, social, etc) of enforcing authoritarianism. They very well might try anyway, but every person that says “no” is another point of friction. www.npr.org/2025/06/28/n...

Democrats cannot defeat authoritarian fascism without an agenda that stands squarely on the side of working people. We need a pro-worker, pro-democracy, anti-establishment movement that will take on oligarchy like never before.

A government ban on Hungary’s Pride parade backfired Saturday as over 100,000 people marched through Budapest, far more than usual PM Viktor Orban warned people to stay away, threatening “clear legal consequences.” But the warnings only turned a modest event into a mass rally against his government

I have seen a ridiculous amount of islamophobia from people who claim to be liberals over the last few days. Let me make this clear, islamophobia will immediately get you a block, as will any other bigotry or racism.

This is not about "left" vs "right" anymore — and it hasn't been for a long time. The oligarchy feels safer if people split along the old “left” vs.“right” battle lines, so they won’t notice they’re being shafted and won't join together to fight back.

god damn he's cooking

To anyone feeling down about the most recent #SCOTUS decision: It's easy to feel demoralized. I'd be lying to say I wasn't... But this decision could also be a boon for us if we elect a true progressive in 2028 instead of a milquetoast centrist. They are betting on us not doing so. #Democrats

Tom Homan is the real sleeper cell here.

SCOTUS is acting on hubris; the idea that should Dems take power again that they will not use executive power to further their policy goals as they haven't since Bill Clinton. If a progressive president wanted to do M4A through executive order, they could and it would be hard to challenge it.

This SCOTUS ruling is terrifying, but: -If an actual progressive gets elected in 2028, they will have immense executive power and will be able to get a lot done if they pursue their policy goals. -It shows that the literal only option for the Dems to overcome fascism is to move left.

As a general rule: Any establishment Democrat who is staunchly anti-Zohran cannot be trusted and is NOT an ally in this fight against fascism. Any of them who climb on board can possibly be trusted.

Stripping birthright citizenship from people born in this country goes against rights guaranteed in the Constitution. We must stand against unconstitutional actions and stand up for the fundamental rights granted to people in the United States of America.

Zohran Mamdani's victory wasn't a one-off for progressives. I'm currently polling just single digits behind the lead, even though I was a "long-shot" candidate 3 months ago. That's because people-first politics WORK and we can't do it without you:

If the Democrats ever get a 60+ majority in the senate, supreme court reform MUST be their #1 priority.

The following are not welcome here: Racism Bigotry Homophobia Transphobia Antisemitism Islamophobia Xenophobia Sexism Ableism Classism The only groups you are allowed to discriminate against are billionaires and fascists.

The reason why I criticize centrist Democrats an equal amount to MAGA is because they are enablers of fascism who fight people to their left harder than the GOP. In order for Trump and his ideology to be truly defeated, centrist Democrats need to step aside for progressives to enter the fray.

This is AWESOME—earlier today, people from @planetoverprofit.org protested Peter Thiel’s Palantir by blocking the doors to the company’s NYC Office while chanting: “Say it once, say it twice, Palantir works with ICE!”

Putin, Netanyahu, and Trump must be shipped to a beautiful Dutch city called The Hague.

The fact that Republicans are being openly Islamophobic toward Zohran and Democrats aren't condemning it says everything you need to know. The GOP are openly fascist, and because the Dems take money from many Republican billionaires, they are also fine with fascism because it benefits their donors.

ICE is a terrorist organization.

So the Iran Nuclear Deal, a sophisticated multilateral agreement reached by hundreds of adults over a two-year period—which kept us safe for years—has been replaced by a pathetic, obviously false bedtime story about a supposedly obliterated nuclear program being told to us by a known con man Got it

Establishment Dems like Donald Trump more than they'd like to admit.

And no reactionary centrist dems, neoliberals, and blue MAGA, it doesn't matter if it wouldn't have resulted in Trump getting removed from office. But it does send a message to everyone that "we are against Trump's lawlessness, are against illegal wars, and won't tolerate this." This matters.

Al Green is truly a great congressman. This man has told the establishment and their obsession with civility and decorum to kick rocks to stand up for what he and all of us believe, which is that Trump should be impeached for his strike on Iran. We need more people like Green in congress.

The Democratic tea party is here, and unlike the Republican one, it will not be astroturfed billionaire-funded garbage. It will be entirely bottom-up and progressives will become so powerful that the establishment dems can either bend the knee or go and put on a red hat.

Schumer, Jeffries, and now Bill Clinton have congratulated Zohran Mamdani on his victory. Obama has not.

Republicans think if you call someone/something “socialist,” it's a disqualifying insult. But someone calling *themselves* a “socialist” just won a citywide primary in America’s biggest city. Your words have no power here.

Zohran Mamdani won because people are sick of: 1. Calculate-and-play-it-safe Democrats; 2. Christian Nationalism; 3. Republican xenophobia and their ICE Gestapo; 4. MAGA’s islamophobia; and 5. Politicians who talk about culture wars instead of the issues that affect ordinary people.

I think that the outcome in the NY Mayoral race and the Wisconsin Supreme Court race both show that people power CAN beat the political money machine. That should give us all hope, and the motivation to work for the government we want.

There is no more "liberal" and "conservative." It's now "progressive" and "fascist," and there are people within the Democratic party who are closer to the latter than former.

The amount of blatant Islamophobia I've seen directed at Zohran is absolutely disturbing and disgusting. It's very depressing that blatant bigotry has been enabled and emboldened.
