I feel you... And even though I would be allowed to, I have chosen to stay with Ubuntu for pragmatic reasons. 1. We use a third party library that I am not interested in making it work on non-FHS (yet), 2. Our VPN software isn't in nixpkgs, and again no intention to package it. 3. I can fix 1/2

Hallo Kiki! Die Kommunikation im Team und auch Fachübergreifend ist komplett auf Deutsch. Code dagegen (weitgehend) auf Englisch. Es gibt ein paar wenige Stellen wo wir im Sinne der "Ubiquitous Language" deutsche Bezeichner nutzen.

Ich finde das Fehlen der Gehaltsspanne immer schade. Unabhängig von der eigentlichen Stelle. Leider waren wir nicht in der Lage die Personalabteiling davon zu überzeugen das Gehaltsband mit zu nennen. Für das Elixirforum haben wir es als "normale Spanne in mittelständischen Unternehmen" formuliert.

#nixpkgs has `lib.strings.escape*`, maybe you can take inspiration from their implementation?
