The scene on weathertop gets me every time. The wound that never truly heals. That man understood the horrors of war.

It was fine. Not really my taste but not like, poorly executed. Definitely worth the delight of the servers!

There was a Thai place that once decided “my usual” included raspberry iced tea. I’ve never ordered that in my life but they were new and so excited about having a regular. So for the next three years I had raspberry iced tea with my pad thai 🤷🏻♀️

My mom loved her roomette on the Southwest Chief, she was very comfortable and met interesting people in the dining car. The attendant was super helpful, too!

If you like everyone in your community, that’s probably just a friend group. (Rare exceptions apply for people who really do like everyone). I’m a union steward for my whole BU whether I like them or not. It’s a lesson in patience.

Anyhow, in case you missed it amongst the other news, all the bees are dying again. www.beeculture.com/national-sur...

Like, I was the kid who kept dead bees in a desk drawer, and now I make my living telling people about dead bees. I don’t think that is broadly relatable?
