So your best guess is the Suns likely hold Beal for a year then try to work an expiring deal for Beal in Year 2?

That's a crazy complicated set of concerns for Beal's contract. I can't imagine how long it took to learn all that.
I will say Beal looks LOTS better in a Suns uni than a Wizards one!
I'm still amazed they were able to move him. And the pick swaps they got might end up actually mattering!

The system really didn't work this way up until very recently.
I spent most of my career in it so I have some insight here. I actually was the primary action officer on DoD's 1st social media policy (DTM-09-026 Internet-based Cabilities).
Aquisition rules used to be followed by most everyone.

But it's usually not the owner of the platform making the decision. That is indeed Corrupt to the core.

While the most high-profile cases of students having their visa revoked are associated with protests about the war in Gaza, a lot of them are students who had any sort of minor infraction with the law, like a decade-old DUI. Not a national security threat!

Many deportations appear unconnected from any political act, but still not public safety threats. This guy has been in the US since high school. He is being deported, for what appears to be an expunged DUI case in 2023, 3 weeks before he was set to finish his degree.

Wait, why does Beal's return to Washington count as a revenge game again?
That...dude...fleeced this city and franchise for everything it had.
There was no revenge, none at all. Revenge for what?
The only thing that happened was additional shitting on DC, something he was well familiar w/doing.

Ive not watched one minute of cable news since the election.
Fact patterns over (often created) drama for me, thanks.
