My purest soul war horse also had a long career - 78 starts over 8 years followed by a 7 year stud career before he needed a new start. Ravi (Mr rancho vista) is my first TB and my heart. Nothing beats a war horse with a good temperament.

Oh! Mycologists will often lick/taste mushrooms to note their flavor, as it can help with identification. (We always spit them out, obviously). I feel like a lot of fieldwork has these types of weird quirks.
