Of COURSE, he had to specify which N-word. I'm sure he throws the "other" N-word around all the time.

All because these people don't understand the concept of "Classified" or "Top Secret" or "compartmentalized information" and run their big mouths.

She was scheduled to testify before Congress next day. "Dentist appointment," didn't carry enough weight and saying she "has mono," would have made her hideout for longer to be convincing.
Allegedly.

Right! "Guideline" doesn't override the law. Every Dem in Congress should just show up tomorrow.

6. Using any attack (or threat of attack) as a justification of martial law is frivolous, ridiculous, ineffective, impractical, and ill-conceived. One of the lessons of previous conflicts should be the near impossibility of maintaining two fronts, especially with our diminished ally support.

5. The adage "Be careful whose toes you step on, they could be connected to a butt you have to kiss," should be heeded as advice by the administration. An enemy has allies, and they can cause us big problems.
An enemy of my enemy is NOT always my friend.

4. Any attack on US soil is a failure of the current administration. The use of the military in a city for shock value and the theater of Dr Phil ICE raids, vs actually securing the border. The gutting of Federal agencies. The unseriousness of the "leaders" installed at some of those agencies. Etc

3. The "justifcation" used since the 90's is that Iran is "2 weeks away " from a nuclear weapon. Difficult to believe, considering the time frame. Also, since Israel made those (surprisingly) precise strikes on their nuclear program, wouldn't that neutralize that threat?

2. "Maybe/Maybe not," also allows for someone else to "decide." A direct decision, made by someone in the administration can be used to hang blame on them if the actions are unpopular. Or no decision until someone else "does something."

I would really like there to be a resolution to this that isn't just "kidnapping is legal now, good luck"

In all the legal defenses for the victims that I've seen, none of them has brought up the illegal and unconstitutional kidnapping by masked, unidentified assailants. All have focused on things like post-abduction abuses like denying right to habeas corpus.
