I remember when a native speaker told me that about a word (i think it might have been 食い残し ) and they said it's not really a word girls should be using.

I had written a thank you and signed it with my name. She stared at it and then asked me my name (which confused me). I said: "Sarah".
To which she replied:
"My name's Sarah too".

After that, i enjoyed my coco and honey tart in the sunshine and decided to make a simple drawing on a page of my ketchbook to give to that lady. It was the only thing i could think of to repay her.
When i gave it to her she was really happy but then here came the bizarre part:

-a hug, at which i started sobbing. She walked out from behind the counter and hugged me. I've never experienced something like that so it meant so much to me 😭 at a moment where i felt terribly alone and filled with shame and self loathing a stranger provided some warmth and kind words.

Something awe inspiring happed after that though. I forced myself to take a short walk in a nearby park and try to enjoy the sunshine when i came upon a little kiosk where they sold coffee and stuff. It had a sign outside that said: "hey cutie, please don't forget to enjoy yourself!" -
