Very compromised as Frank is a friend of mine. Brain melty and way spikier than I thought it would be, which is something I enjoy.
Absolutely adore that the art is quite weird sometimes, even though there's definitely a mismatch between the expectation of what the art promises and play in practice.

I'm curious to hear how you felt about Emberleaf!

i'm not sure either of those platforms are good comparisons to invoke because they've both been heavily criticized for manipulating markets

does gamefound offer transparency tools? are there third party checkers that make sure everything is on the up an up? is this an unfair market advantage?

or you can buy some rory's story cubes if you're struggling that much. i dunno, no need to burn down the planet and steal everyone's work for this.

There's been a year worth of opinions and verdicts already. So naturally, that's not the way to go. But digging deeper means going against the grain, against the consensus, producing conclusions that maybe don't immediately make sense in an established scene.

I am kinda scared that a lot of it just won't click with folks, it's a video I wanted to make but that doesn't mean it's a video people want? I think people just really want us to cover Arcs and give opinions and verdicts and I want to talk about the weird shit under the hood.

A lot of what I wanted to do for the video visuals wise we won't do because otherwise you'll have to wait months and we just can't afford that (sad). So it will look like another one of our videos. But word wise, I'm really happy with it. I know where I'm going. I know where I've been.

I especially like that there's a Descent-like hacking "minigame." I remember trying to understand Descent controls when I was like 12 and once I got it, I just couldn't stop flying that thing.

I really hope you're right but every other time these chodes started invading a platform it ended in a binfire of hatred.

been getting some questions about games and water and i want to assure everyone that we have thought this through. i've been playing board games on the deck and it only got a little wet. the boats have been rated as "very dry when in an isolated state" by my friend nate

Everything you love, everything you find meaningful, every authentic interest you've ever had will be appropriated, mishandled, watered down, cheapened, repackaged, marketed and sold back to you by people you hate.

And eventually this will be as bad as the other place. Yes, I know how federation works. No, it won't matter, that won't actually work.
