Can you imagine being in an accident in one of these ugly tina cans & having EMT’s have to wait for a Tesla representative to unlock it to render aid?

If you are a NY’er & your employer is not following the rules then you file a complaint with the NYS Department of Labor.

Because New Yorkers who work are taxed to death. The employees in the workforce PAY for this no matter what your employer gives for leave time. Family leave tax was enacted in 2020. The working NY’ers pay .388% of their wages to this TAX for 2025. That is up from .373% in 2024.

In NYS employers with more than 100 employees are required to give 56 hours of paid sick time. What does your state require? They also provide up to 12 weeks at 67% of pay for maternity leave. Far better than the old 6 weeks that was the standard 6-7 years ago. It is a start.
