Pre-existing conditions is an insurance term used in Canada also. And you are correct insurance is just one big ponzu scheme. I worked in the Canadian & US insurance industry for 25 yrs. It is a complete con job. Insurers will use any means to NOT pay out a claim.

This is what keeps me up nights lately! Having such a long unprotected border is terrifying for Canadians right now. We just don’t trust the US or the “process” as it just continues to fail. We know impeachment & conviction of felonies makes no difference…I fear for us all.
