Gregg is a former Marine and Forest Service ranger. He's saved the lives of hikers dangling off a cliff or going through cardiac arrest, and he's bravely fought forest fires to save small rural towns. 100% of his salary is paid by WA state. Elon fired him. Share his story.

Some influencers are endorsing the violent terror of Meir Kahane. Far-right extremist groups are trying to recruit among Jews. These extremists don’t deserve attention except to make clear: they do not represent Jewish Americans and their extremism is at odds with Jewish values & safety. Full stop.

Spending isn't a “conspiracy” just because Musk doesn’t know how to read usaspending.gov. A program isn't waste just because it doesn’t help the richest man in the world. It isn't fraud just because he doesn’t like it. A law is not illegal just because he disagrees with it.

Trump & Musk are randomly firing people who: ➡️track bird flu & other disease outbreaks ➡️manage nuclear weapons ➡️conduct lifesaving cancer research ➡️fight wildfires ➡️ensure planes land safely ➡️& more. It doesn’t "cut waste." It creates inefficiency & costs MORE down the line.

I hope the Teamsters are happy, having thrown the entire US labor movement under the bus to support this turncoat.

I've noted some of the procedural things Democrats could be doing in Congress, but this point from @edgeofsports.bsky.social's great piece in the Nation deserves emphasis. This is basic politics, and it's baffling that every Democrat isn't doing it every day. www.thenation.com/article/poli...

Could someone place an order for 100 more Jasmine Crocketts for overnight delivery to the Democratic Party thx in advance

I’m the dairy farmer running to replace Elise Stefanik in New York’s 21st Congressional District. Can you repost this, give me a follow, and help spread the word?

DEMOCRATS IN CONGRESS: there have been times when you controlled the House & Senate, yet Republicans still found ways to block your legislation. DO THAT TO THEM! And—since the GOP won’t hold hearings, go home to your districts & hold mock hearings yourselves. Let the people see what’s really up!

But what, pray tell, did the rest of the White House press corps do?

So the House is against banning fracking without approval, but apparently, no approval is needed to dismantle congressionally-created government agencies or to grant Musk and his band access to every Americans' private financial and medical information www.foxnews.com/politics/hou...

Hearing nonsense that Ds are threatening a shutdown. False. Entire matter is in GOP hands. What's happening is that Rs are coming hat in hand to Ds for help because they can't agree among themselves. Ds shld have a simple demand. No help until the criminal conduct stops.

something that stands out for me at the almost-2.5-week mark is that Musk priorities are actually happening and Trump priorities are not.

These kids and Muskolini didn't "shut down" USAID and they didn't "take care of" OPM/Treasury Dept, they illegally broke into a secure facility on a weekend when hardly anyone was there, hijacked sensitive data on US citizens/businesses, destroyed govt property, and unlawfully fired Americans. (1/6)

Hi all, We’re still here at OPM. We have a situation where we MIGHT, and I do mean, MIGHT have four of Elon’s people blocked from the building. Can we get press or a member of Congress down here? We’ve blocked them for two hours and they keep coming back and trying to go in.

When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Take inspiration from it.

No one's blaming Democrats for causing this crisis, but yes, many of them are failing to meet this moment. One Democratic senator could bring the chamber to a halt. House Dems can go to fed agencies being gutted by Musk with cameras in tow. Governors can push back. State AGs can bring lawsuits.

Dear the Media, When something bad happens in an area under the executive branch's purview, and the White House goes "uh... a Black or gay person must've done it," you do not need to accept that. You're allowed to follow up in pursuit of the factual reason, not the bigoted excuse. Love, The public

"Hitler wanted to kill me for being a Jew. Now, Putin is trying to kill me for being Ukrainian." - Holocaust survivor Roman Shvartsman in the Bundestag.

Should go without saying but the point of diversity in hiring is to find _better_-qualified candidates outside of stagnant social networks that don't reward merit, like the kind of network that would put an MTV personality with a marketing degree in charge of the Department of Transportation

Stop fucking saying he blamed “DEI,” which is some abstract, non-tangible idea. He is blaming people of color having jobs he thinks they aren’t qualified for. He’s blaming race. He’s being racist every time he says it. Journalists need to get fucking backbones, my word.

So much this. Grab the key words and have every Dem repeating them ad nauseam. * Trump fired competent people * We're all less safe because of Trump's illegal and unconstitutional executive orders and his unqualified nominees * Americans died because of Trump's actions

this really is "just asking questions" laid bare. there's no basis to ask the question. you're only asking because you have a preferred outcome that is contrary to all of the evidence.
