Not much of a poster. PNW genXer (in before they closed the door), now in the midwest. Higher Ed professional. Seattle sports fan, adopted KC. I worked one night in an Irish pub kitchen in Sweden. #GoCougs

Since Melania doesn't seem to want to be around for this, who plays the Nancy Reagan role - running things?

I get the unprofessionalism (also, hello double standards), but Terry's post is about a 2 at most when you have the President calling people scum and animals and trying to invent an invasion of rapists and murderers out of whole cloth.

Honestly, it's not usually the kids who have trouble with it. They are way more (bullies absolutely still exist) understanding than their non-teacher adults.

I feel like a 46th anniversary victory parade should happen on the exact same day.

I think that is the absolute right way to frame it. Realistic about the work ahead but also aspirational. Thank you.

Was used pretty well in a scene from the criminally underrated "Sarah Connor Chronicles".

Was on a search at WSU long ago. Phone interview, candidate was somewhere in the midwest maybe. Asked them what they knew about Pullman and campus. They said, "It's close to Seattle." I replied, "well I guess it's closer than where you are now."

I thought KKR played well and held his own against Bouanga. One bright spot for me at least.

How is Democratic leadership dumber than Tuberville on this? At least that guy stuck to his playbook.

Let's not forget the anchor that repubs passed in 2006 with the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act, which requires USPS to prefund employee pensions 75 years in advance. They'll never have a positive balance.

This! Decisions that you have to get right the first time require a lot of time and consideration.

I mean, the man set up a pass that Nouhou (my absolute favorite Sounder) couldn't airmail 30 rows up- and oh did he try. Instant cred.

With the way he has been working himself into such opportune spots the last few weeks I feel like his xG should be higher. But this is awesome to see as a former doubter.

His run of form had been so good the last few games. Looking dynamic and finding open space. Letting Fereria find room as a distributor. Was just lacking that finish (so many point blank misses). So happy to see it now.

Ageed. But I mean, the Sounders do get to play PSG, Atlético Madrid, and Botofogo all in Seattle.

My daughter asked for a walkman and tapes for her 13th birthday. She like "old tech" and was definitely influenced by Guardians of the Galaxy.

Took the kids out of school early to watch a 1pm Wendesay Mariners game in KC back in April 2018. 14k people (seemed generous), got seats about 5 rows behind 3rd base for maybe $15 each. Kids still ask when we can do that again (not baseball fans either).
