Oh, to be able to easily traverse the Pond just to go to EOH events whenever I want. I hope you’ll come to NYC or Boston/Salem this coming year!

It really is. It also helps me pick out things to watch, knowing I’ll get to listen to one of the pods after. 😊

It really is! I’m looking forward to watching Oddity now too.

I thought it was really interesting setting it there. All of the boarded up houses and empty lots add to the overall feeling of dread and suburban isolation.

I also loved it. I haven’t had a feeling of creeping dread like that during a movie in a long time. I don’t think the climax plays out as well as I wanted but the rest was spot on.

That’s so cool! I actually had a moment of nostalgia for old school malls during that scene. I was also wondering why there were so many people going to see Santa in the middle of public health crisis and then I remembered how people reacted during Covid. Point, Cronenberg.

My favorite is Lake Mungo.

Arguably one of the most horrific endings in movie history.

#31daysofhorror film 1: The Cell (2000)
What if Silence of the Lambs wasn't as good but took place in a Salvador Dali painting? You get The Cell.
That's not to say it's a bad movie. It's visually arresting & effects hold up surprisingly well but the performances can't stand up to the set pieces.

I genuinely and surprisingly enjoyed The First Omen but I’m not so sure about this sequel. I’m not precious about these properties but my big issue is the only thing that makes the trailer interesting is that it’s a prequel. Otherwise it looks a little like a Suspiria 2018 knock off.
