Sadly there’s never been a direct follow-up to the Chojin Enma Gradebook, but there have been several more issues of Kinnikuman Jump (collections of specific manga chapters plus interviews and whatnot) and the Gakken Chojin and technique encyclopedias (covering up to the Omega and Choshin arcs)

As Nakai alludes to, the specific method by which Black Hole turns into Pentagon was thought up by Shimada, who was inspired by socks and other items of clothing that can be turned inside-out. Shimada explains this to his initially baffled editor in the Chojin Enma Gradebook:
