like I just had a spinach, ricotta, and sun dried tomato pizza and it was sublime

I don't actively dislike sausage or pepperoni myself (though I try to avoid for vegetarian reasons) but I will absolutely agree that these are all superior choices.

I know the material reasons for the rise of fascism. I also think another reason - which doesn’t get talked about as much because it’s embarrassing that humans can be that naive - is that when you are financially comfortable but bored, abstract cruelty can give you a sense of purpose.

Welcoming recent supporters of American fascism who are starting to have some doubts because they're facing some consequences is, on any real scale, an either/or tactic. Their other views, including bigotry against multiple groups, are largely unchanged. So if they come in, others get pushed out.

Following the law to deliberately perpetuate structural discrimination and harm that kills hundreds of thousands of people a year is actually more righteous than breaking the law for any reason whatsoever.

An opinion I'm sure you share with millions of other mediocre white liberal sophisticates for whom struggle and oppression are purely hypothetical exercises.

it's like the world gets softer, warmer, quieter, more sensual, more intimate. just an immensely pleasurable catharsis and spiritual peace with oneself.

They're almost worse than the fascists themselves. They're still participating in fascism, however unwillingly, but they're cowards and betrayers to boot. Worthless. At least I know what to expect from the fascists.

Forcing trans people to have the wrong gender marker listed on their passports is a requirement to identify themselves as trans in ways that would permanently separate them from the rest of the population.

I love seeing trans people fall in love with whoever they want, perhaps because I am simply built different.
My fiancé is legitimately the most loving and gentle person in my life, could not be happier to wed him.

A thingamajig for which I will yearn for probably the rest of my natural born life is the 1/4 scale Lady Maria statue that cost about USD 600 on release and has only gotten more expensive. I could never justify the expense. But I can yearn for free.

To fascists, deportees might as well be Fallout NPCs that they're sending into the wilderness to be shredded to pieces by Deathclaws for a laugh. Fascists do not believe these people are even capable of suffering in a way that matters.

looking forward to the conservative narrative in 2 years that our national parks are falling to pieces because of big government so we need to sell the land to resource speculators with a small carve out that they have to use a pinch of their profits to poorly take care of a fraction of it
