Delighted to be able to say that my book is now included on @dragonfly.eco's excellent website! 😀💚 dragonfly.eco/1059-nr-baker/

Yep, it’s hard to disagree with this.

Come ride with me Through the veins of history I'll show you how God Falls asleep on the job And how can we win When fools can be kings? Don't waste your time Or time will waste you Muse, Knights of Cydonia

A Christmas update from Liz 👇. "the run up to Christmas it is often a time of reflection for many, I have much to reflect upon" #cancer #cancerawareness gofund.me/175b2742

“Special government employee” isn’t in the Constitution. It’s odd that one can just name such a person to have more power than any cabinet secretary, and thereby bypass any need for Senate confirmation, which the Constitution requires for executive officers wielding such power. This is lawless.

🤔 Trusk blatantly plotting WW3... climate change tipping points whizzing by... heartbreaking biodiversity loss... waste & pollution out of control... & more global pandemics waiting in the wings... I guess, even for those who've refused to join the dots so far, the picture's becoming pretty clear 🫣

Trump made a speech this week mocking and joking that USA has spent money protecting bio diversity and nature and cheering fact that he and Musk had cut all the funding These people have zero understanding that without nature we would not exist as they continue to kill natural world ever faster

"An underground classic"! 😁 Cool, I'll take that - thanks so much!

Great to have all of these quotes in one place! Well done @popnmatters.bsky.social 👏 and thanks for the link, @timcies.bsky.social 👍 So many brilliant minds & people who really know what they're talking about. Maybe we should have listened...

Some people saw how beautiful this world is and decided to descrate it anyways. We'll never stop fighting for wildlife and wild places. No matter who is in office. No matter what the odds are. The stakes are just too high to surrender. Our world is worth protecting. Join us ➡️ biodiv.us/40njtik

Once you see that overpopulation & overconsumption are the root causes of pretty much ALL our problems, there's no going back. It's like one of those 3D images that suddenly snaps into focus and then you can't unsee it. So many people are refusing to look at what's right there in front of them.

OK, I practically live under a rock - I'm unplugged from modern society and have very little exposure to world news, but what I do see and hear is pretty scary. You guys who watch news every day... you must be (a) scared *!@?!-less, (b) going insane, (c) turning to drink, or (d) all of the above 😬

"If we do not take charge of our population size, then nature will do it for us." David Attenborough

"Overconsumption and overpopulation underlie every environmental problem we face today." Jacques Cousteau (1910-1997)

"The modern plague of overpopulation" Martin Luther King, Jr. Words from 1966, when world population was 3.4bn.

I already knew we were heading to hell in a handbasket, but... what idiot just turbo-charged the damned thing?? (Rhetorical question.) 🤦‍♀️

An official memorandum was recently discovered, listing "the effects of carbon dioxide on climate" among top environmental concerns being brought to the attention of the President of the United States. The President was Lyndon B. Johnson and the memo was dated January 13, 1965. SIXTY years ago.

The forest was shrinking but the trees kept voting for the axe, for the axe was clever and convinced the trees that because his handle was made of wood he was one of them. -TurkishProverb #Democracy#humanrights#climatecrisis#WealthDisparity #PowerAndManipulation #SystemicInjustice#EquityForAll

Look at these images of 'urban hell' on @boredpanda.com and then tell me there aren't too many people in the world. Tell me that humans aren't a plague on this planet. Tell me how civilised and ingenious we are. www.boredpanda.com/urban-hell-p...

199 reviews. If I got to 200 it would be a little Christmas miracle. Hint hint… 😁https://www.amazon.co.uk/Life-Eternal-Richard-Ayre-ebook/dp/B088CTP9M1

My little book has average ratings of 4.4 ⭐ on Amazon (200 ratings) and Goodreads (150 ratings), with 85% of readers awarding it 4/5 stars. Why not see what all the fuss is about? (Well, OK... fuss is a bit of an overstatement. But a few people seem to like it.) 😉 nrbakerwriter.com/how-to-buy/
