I'm glad Henry Hatsworth and Elite Beat Agents made it as additions to the list. I want to put out a shout for Daigasso Band Bros. It's a more traditional rhythm game, but the buttons directly translate to a scale, and you can create your own music tracks. (or nowadays copy/download other people's?)
