I hope this will be recorded! Friends - Please tune in for this if you possibly can.

Musk and Trump are a great example of why men are too emotional to lead.

This is one of the serious environmental problems that we are facing - but many of these issues are being drowned out by the chaotic state of our government. Can’t help but wonder if that’s one of the goals of the current administration 😢

And it’s not just Pacific Islanders who are at risk. Ocean flows can take this radioactive water to many far flung places! The #Pacific is the Americas’ ocean too!

Having worked with Dr. Phillips opposing fossil fuel projects in the area I can say that he is the very opposite of a threat to the community - preferring hunger strikes that put his own health at risk Guess his science based approach to protecting our environment is a problem for industry profits?

“[Republican judges are] at least asking the question that all Americans should be asking: if Trump is sure these guys are criminals, why not prove it in court?”

I was really hoping that this one would follow in the environmental footsteps of the last one. Such a relief to see this!

While top level issues like whether presidential support for the Constitution is mandatory are taking up a lot of space in our brains and the media, there are urgent ‘on the ground’ concerns like whether children should have access to water that doesn’t contain toxic chemicals. Please take action:

We need more leaders like @amdanalevenberg.bsky.social who are looking out for our environment AND our utility bills! Helpful hint for folks who don't already know: nuclear plants are the MOST expensive way to produce electricity and take the longest time to install (so no help on climate change).

Every step in the process of using uranium to make electricity at nuclear plants is filled with disastrous health problems and deaths (including waste that’s dangerous for hundreds of thousands of years). We MUST NOT revive an industry that kills people as part of ‘the price of doing business’!
