The theme music to which was written by a very young and green Hans Zimmer of all people! Now that's definitely a fact for a pub quiz!

He's been famously ripping off both photography and naturism since the noughties. Stripes are rarely changed it seems.

Just having a go at Avowed now. If ever there's constants throughout RPGs - there's always treasure behind waterfalls, there's always long grass in convenient places, and fire bomb plants are always conveniently above enemies heads 😆

From another users perspective I can see that your profile pic has been blurred out. You might want to avoid winkies in the profile pics. Or else hide everything whilst still being obviously nude. It doesn't have to be a plant pot like Austin Powers. And appeal everything. They do respond.

Thanks for telling us about it. I looked up the website as I'd never heard of it, but it's now tacked onto the bottom of my very long places-to-go list

This is where BSky could do me another gigantic favour and allow muted words to apply to pictures as well as posts 🤔

Formara, Papagayo, La Graciosa, Mirador del Rio, many many volcanos. Depends on your bravery but many of these are doable from virtually where you park up. The excellent book and accompanying map "Walk! Lanzarote" by Jan Kostura is highly recommended.

Given that Bianca has now gone to 99.9% naked (clearly in order to shock everyone into talking about her), what's interesting is that there is absolutely no room left for anything else that isn't 100% naked! Doing "a Bianca" has now been done and won't ever again shock in the same way. Unless... 🤔

Which one were you thinking of? There's definitely a lot of contradicting evidence.

True. I guess I was just searching for visual "clues" as to intent, but even then, as you point out, one type can be mis-thought as another. Again it's just in the head. And again it's a problem with labels and shades of grey. The tyrany of the discontinuous mind.

...especiallly in photos of women - the dropped hips, the pointed toes, the arched backs, but these are stereotypes in the same way a tan is aethetically pleasing in the west but not in the east. So what's left? If an individual, then intent is not evident until there is action to define it. 2/

This is the bottom line I think. The only thing to objectively classify a photo in this way is what's in people's heads. To completely disassociate yourself from the biases your own sense of attraction or prejustice feeds you is very hard! There are some ways to catagorise "posed" or "natural"... 1/

And importantly, the former is probably just as vital in supporting the community as a whole than the latter 👍

May try returning there this year. I've only been once since Covid, yet between 2011 and 2017 I must have been one of the most regular visitors! 😄

I love photos that convey "smallness". So brash and full of ourselves, until we stand draped in stuff a million times grander. Reminds me of my feeling standing on the Corralejo dunes - endless sand, ocean and mountainous thundercloud. Relative to the natural world, we are microbes 🤔😵💫 #perspective

I like some of them. In fact the more obvious the AI is the better. It makes for more fantastical type images that don't even try to be real. AI faking real photography though is bad news. I keep telling myself to call then pictures too. Calling them photos feels...wrong.

What an amazing coincidence that every single sunflower is pointed straight at her in orderly rows! 😉 It's AI of course. The poster usually hashtags AI on every 'picture'. I think that's vital else it's a massive slap to every genuine photographer out there. If you like AI art, fair do's.

Good to see this event still going strong after so many years. Is it 10 years yet since our first one? Surely Paul and I still get to come along, even if i'm...ahem...a little bit over 45 now 🤣

I haven't deleted it but I no longer login. I think it's important to keep the history of being a naturist online, as it could be useful to prove bonefides to authority in the future.

A different angle is saying "is LGBT hurting LGBT?". It's this issue with bringing other socially-left ideas into play and hiding them underneath the accepted banner. Sexual liberation under the guise of LGBT will hurt LGBT and the same for naturism. But LGBT hurting naturism directly, no.

😂😂 It's actually Met centre areas - little cooperatives, that decide on the names. So UK pact with Eire and the Netherlands over names. Unfortunately M is already "Meearse". I is "Isitfeck" and J "Justabreeze" as suggested by the Scottish farmers association...

The stereotype I guess, when a model is a model first, they will tend to be about the aesthetic, yet naturism is more about being real. I'm just trying to work out whether both are equally useful for showcasing nudity in an 'everyone should try this' way. I think the answer is 'possibly'.

Yes it's interesting how one can lead to the other. Each model-naturist has their own story. Many nude models are clearly not nudies except for theit nudity in front of a lens or artist. I simply wondered idly if either approach made for a better model, and/or a better representation for naturism.
