In other news, wrote a tool to export my project from Azure Custom Vision and set it up to be trained using PyTorch and YOLOv5. Prototyped it all out and ensured it worked on my laptop before standing up a dedicated Ubuntu box with a Ryzen 5950X with 32GB & 4070 Super for training! 🔥

Stopped by the Upstate Card Show today and picked up some great older sets. - 1982 Topps - 1983 Fleer - 1985 Fleer Lots of great rookie cards in these! Cal Ripken Jr., Kirby Puckett, Roger Clemens, Tony Gwynn, Ryne Sandberg, Wade Boggs (RIP 🪦), not to mention all the Hall of Famers as well! ⚾️

FYI: In addition to being a "down" year, it's going to be harder to get big hits with 2025 Topps Series 1 Baseball. While the Base Set is the same size as 2024 (350), odds for a Base Printing Plate has gone up from 1:20,024 to 1:21,228, meaning you'd need to open 6% more product to get one.

Still building out the open Junk Wax database on GitHub! I’ve got most mainstream baseball sets from 1980-1993 in easily consumed JSON files, with accompanying JSON Schema and example programs (C#, Go, Rust, Typescript, etc.) ⚾️ Still a work in progress, but we’re getting there! 😁

One thing I battle with being on Zepbound, and having lost so much weight (~60 pounds), is that I'm *constantly* afraid that a day of bad eating will undo all of it,. The day after I'm afraid to put on my "skinny" jeans, or "skinny" shirts, because I think they won't fit after that one bad day 😜
