Congrats, RZA. This video has dethroned the Wendy's Grill Skills training rap video.

Not the biggest fan of the new cover. I wasn't the biggest fan of the original either, but I had finally gotten used to it. This one feels a little too "MUSIC FROM THE UPCOMING HIT MOTION PICTURE" to me. Oh well.
OH YEAH, AND MY FIRST PRESSING VINYL IS HALF OF AN ALBUM. THANKS ABEL. Again, oh well.

Very interested to see how this evolves for me over time, but I feel very positively toward it for now, especially considering its length.

The features are all better than they were on Dawn FM. Travis Scott and Future both had good verses in their back-to-back features, but Lana Del Rey was the absolute standout. I'm not sure if it was indeed Daft Punk on Big Sleep, but I hope it was them and not just copying their signature vocals.

It's more abstract and varied in style than the dramatic, self-mythologizing (and inconsistent) rollout led me to believe, but still focused and it feels personal. Like someone going through his very own one-man apocalypse.

That said, I'm pretty blown away at how consistently good it is from beginning to end, from songwriting, to vocals, to production. This album sounds expensive.

It's difficult to kind of rate it or place it in my mind, because I'm always wary of recency bias, and I have other biases as well - namely that I rarely find studio albums this long to be very consistent throughout.

The gameplay is 10/10, but the dialogue has Whedonstinkâ„¢ all over it.
I find myself choosing only the most straightforward and earnest options just to avoid all the lampshading and snark.
If they're deliberately going for "schlocky action movie" I think they're severely overplaying their hand.

Yeah but the theme being played slowly is by John Fucking Williamsâ„¢ so that elevates it at least a couple notches for me

Oh my god, I'm 34 years old and I just realized that Navi is short for "navigation".
I'll just go walk into the ocean now.

People used to HATE this stuff. Remember when everyone used to complain about Navi?

Wow, I had completely forgotten about Crashing until you mentioned it!
