They are a such a unique species that they are in their own family, Aniliidae. Rarely seen, they are active usually on wet nights where they hunt a variety of prey from caecilians, frogs, lizards and other snakes. πΈ

to go with someone who offered photos for free. It is a really hard industry and we never make money off our photos, so when there is opportunity a place can purchase images its a big deal! Absolutely gutted this has happened but it isn't the first or last time. AHHHHHHπ
