Ooh nice one!! I'm sure a gem carver could do something awesome with a nice clean white common opal like that!! Great specimen as is too, nice find!!

Thanks!! It's one of my best finds for sure, quartz crystals are few and far between in my area of BC so when I found this spot I was pretty stoked. So many crazy formations out there and potential for so much more!!

All those manganese oxides really cover it up, must be really hard to track down in the wild!! I've gotten lucky and found some in creeks up in northern BC where its nice and pink from being tumbled out of the mountains🙂

ptygmatic folding in migmatite on the top right there from the looks of it, awesome work!! The way you can perfectly illustrate minerals is amazing, love your other work too!!

Awesome!! I haven't found scapolite yet and I'm not sure if I will, seems to be found more often over east. Sodalite is on the bucket list. Calcite is one that I've collected mainly fluorescing red. I also found some awesome green phosphorescent calcite stalactites in a roadcut next to a coal seam!!

My favorite stone!! You captured the coppery brightness of the aventurescence perfectly!! Rainbow lattice sunstone seems like it'd also be quite a challenge to illustrate, I've actually never seen any illustrations of it, neither have I seen heliolite like this one illustrated either, great work!!

Very nice jasp-agate!! Stones like this always have some amazing patterns, orbs, and blooms, just mesmerizing. Definitely some of my favorite material to cut and polish too🙂
