Okay, misrepresenting the career opportunities available in South Africa (or anywhere else, I guess) is definitely a problem. I've also got Opinions(TM) about some of the local gaming incubator programs for related reasons.

Skills can also be super transferable. I majored in English literature and Latin, and I actually use some of that stuff working as a producer in game development. 😝

I dunno. Colleges and universities have always offered courses in subjects that can be difficult to turn into careers. I don't know if career opportunities should limit educational opportunities, though.
