I had a friend that went white supremacist after high school. Years later, he got in a bar fight and went to jail for attempted murder (fyi, it wasn't racially motivated). After he got out, he got all his tattoos covered up. He made a lot of black friends on the inside, and you can't hate that!

I don't consider MAGA to be Republicans, and there is certainly nothing "conservative" about them. I have no problem with the idea of ditching the old labels and forming something new. In fact, after this fiasco, I would rather we had something better than a 2 party system.

I love that when Zelensky was sitting in the white house being lectured by trump about how he "doesn't have the cards", that drone strike plan was in progress. Like a true poker player, Zelensky didn't tip his hand

That point might hit harder if they didn't hire the lawn boy to run counterterrorism.

They threw out TONS of out-of-state college students' votes last election. They kept changing the rules and purging rolls right up to when early voting began. I'm not sure how to combat that, but we'd better have a plan in place way ahead of time

If they don't protect the lower courts, then DTs cases will never reach them. Then they can claim to be free of blame as our country burns

My thoughts exactly. Trump DID perform for the WWE back in the early 2000s after all. And this smells like the kind of manufactured drama you see in pre-match interviews.

Trump is giving a contract to Palantir to build a master database of all the info that would normally be compartmentalized. Musk and Peter Thiel (ceo of Palantir) go way back, and both have praised Curtis Yarvin's vision of a surveillance state run like a corporation. Google "dark enlightenment"

Everyone's life is hard. But these guys have been told their whole lives that minorities get a free ride on the taxes they pay. If you want to piss someone off, convince them that they're being treated unfairly.
I'm not excusing it, but I heard that same bs when I was a teen.

It was an actual person? I guess I've never heard of that incident. I was just a child when Regan was prez. I'll look it up though

Is that why they're are so many confederate flags at the democrats rallies?
And what's a "welfare queen"? Is that Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the other southern states that take WAY more than they contribute?

The hell are you even arguing? You said democrats love assassinations, and have yet to make a single argument in support of that!

Did you loose all your fingers? You seem to be able to post messages. But somehow you can't look it up for yourself?
It happened gradually, but president Lyndon B. Johnson signing the civil rights act was a big part of it.

That was back when "democrats" (they preferred "dixycrats") were southern slave holders and republicans were northerners who opposed them. Since the ideological switch, every assassin has been a republican. Including the two attempts on trump's life last year

Don't forget Greg Palast's investigation into voter suppression. He claims about 4.5 million votes were thrown out mostly due to voter rolls purges done WAY too close to election day. @gregpalast.bsky.social

Nice article! I 100% agree. AI can be surprisingly clever, but in the same way that I'm amazed when my cat seems to grasp a concept beyond my expectations. It's very far from being a general intelligence. It's just an eloquent search engine

It's much more likely that phase one of the Musk/Thiel/Anton's plan to implement Curtis Yarvin's "neo-feudalism" plan is complete. We're already seeing phase two starting. Peter Thiel's company, Palantir, just got a contract from Trump to take all that stolen data and create a master database

I say it's better to have that happen now, while people still remember what this country stands for. If trump needs martial law to complete his coup, he'll use some lame excuse or fake it entirely.

The only reason Hunter got *any* attention was that Trump couldn't find dirt on Joe, so he attacked his family instead. Apparently that's the moral code of repugs these days. When Mitt Romney left politics, he was asked if he was avoiding standing up to trump. He replied "I have family"

Musk's motivation was ending the investigations into his companies, and to install backdoor access into gov systems. We're now seeing part 2 of his plan as Peter Thiel, his fellow billionaire Africaaner and fellow follower of Curtis Yarvin's "neo-feudalism", is now building a master db on us

Is that...a 2020 article talking about the 2016 election? Of course RT would promote Bernie. They were trying to discredit Hilary. Like those supposed "leaked" emails saying the DNC rigged the primaries in her favor.

Future generations are going to have to learn this stuff in social studies classes. The Mueller team was told to investigate Russia's interference and found collision. They started digging into direct communication, and trump immediately shut them down and declared it "fake news", then buried it.

Republican politicians say they want to take us back to the prosperity of the '50s. What they're not saying is that they mean the 1850s.

If this does happen, there needs to be a LONG list of co-conspirators. Basically, half the republican congress members and the compromised SCOTUS members.

There's a similar story about Biden investing 1 trillion in manufacturing. Now trump is taking credit for these factories coming online, despite it taking years to build a factory.

The last I heard, this sunspot cycle *could* last until mid-2026. Normally, it's an 11 year cycle, but this one is lasting longer than expected. Nothing to freak out about though, the suns not dying or anything.

Even if he could, that 2.4 trillion would come out of the pockets of the American people. Even if he could, I seriously doubt he would lower taxes for anyone but the ultra wealthy. So essentially, our tax burden would double, while the rich pay next to nothing.

I would take it back to Nixon. He was the original sociopathic republican who believed the president should have absolute power.

He succeeded in getting congress to sit on their thumbs and let him do whatever he wants. He succeeded in declaring war time powers over made up crimes. He's succeeded in using plain clothes ice agents with no id to round people up and make them disappear.
He's dangerous AND stupid. He needs to go!

This could easily be spun into something MAGA wants. After all, if you post the tariff amount, you're basically showing what percentage of that product is American made!
...And the rest of us can see more easily how much trump's tariffs scam is costing us

Those are two unrelated incidents. I'm not defending trump, he needs to be removed for sure.
The judge who got arrested, i think it's more productive to talk about Patel thinking it's okay to arrest someone in a courtroom, or classroom, or a church.

Somehow, Clinton and Obama we're both great at deportation. And they didn't have to violate the constitution, defy the supreme court, or commit crimes against humanity to do it!
Trump is taking this route to try to intimidate everybody. Disappearing people is his goal. Political foes are next.

"Supporting evidence" works too. Not everything needs to be Pythagoras' theorem.
So far, our only supporting evidence for vote manipulation is some unlikely statistics about down ballot voting. Also, when they hand counted the votes for Riggs in NC, they kept finding more blue votes each time. 🤔

I will always feel betrayed that democrats have up so easily. At the very least, choose a random district in a swing state and do a hand recount! If you find a discrepancy there, then do a state recount!
But because they were trying to high road maga, we'll never know if vote flipping occured.

I've been looking into Curtis Yarvin. Theil, Vance, Musk, and the other tech bros all praise him like he's some kind of prophet. Yarvin philosophy is called "neo-feudalism" and basically says that democracy will lead to death if they don't take absolute power over us lesser humans. 🤮
