Not with this material, while its breathable, i can't imagine how you'd clean it of sweat and other stuff we produce overnight.
These are relatively thin by comparison, and some soapy water can get through (most of) it to get it to a point if clean that I'm happy with.

Most just need new capacitors and a floppy drive belt. I have a couple of MSX, they work as if they were brand new =)
I replaced the transformer on one of them so it can into our outlets, no converter needed. Just needs practice and a healthy respect of electricity!

A PC-88/98 and a Sharp X68K are top of my list to own on the japanese computer side of things now that I have a few MSX.
The MiSTer FPGA can play them pretty well though!
