More good news for those looking to exit Meta’s social app ecosystem. An independent dev is building a photo-sharing app for #Bluesky called Flashes. It's powered by the same tech that underpins Bluesky, the AT Protocol, and has been built using code from the devs earlier Bluesky client, Skeets.

It feels to me that the culture has gotten more and more hostile toward reading. 25 years ago, people felt embarrassed for not reading. Now they're proud and they even make wild claims that it's somehow elitist or pretentious.
