And thus the Overton window ratchets ever rightward. Scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds.

Steve fucking Bannon. Proving the adage that broken clocks *are* right twice a day...

It's the same reason I've only ever picked at guitar a few times. My AuDHD demands instant dopamine, and unless you're great and/or perfect at it immediately... yeah it don't happen that way 🫠

I picked up Helldivers 2 the other day!

Anything done by Executive Order, can also be undone by Executive Order. We need the Legislative branch to write it into law, a president to sign it, and a non-corrupt SC to uphold it.

I did not! Love it ❤️

I'm just thankful the moderation and curation here is much better than the faeces-ridden pool that X has become.

Exactly this. Undoing and unlearning the indoctrination can be painful work. However it must be done if progress is to be made. Sadly far too many would rather dig in their heels than face painful truths.

I didn't like either candidate from the two main parties. However, I feel one the one who won is significantly worse for America than the other, and I fear by time of the next election significantly more people will come to understand what I mean by that. Noone except the rich won this election.

See also "76 million other people are Islamophobic too!" Isn't the "gotcha" you seem to think it is. If anything it's a self-indictment.

Did you do the same self-reflection when Biden won in 2020? Or Obama in 2008/2012?

So just because my preferred candidate lost I should no longer be able to critique or criticize the person, policies, or agenda of the one who won? Please remember that Freedom of the Press still exists (for now anyway). Also interesting how you are fighting to defend an avowed Islamophobe.

I don't have to be physician to diagnose a gunshot wound from a shooting I witnessed. Nor a firefighter to identify a house on fire. Same concept. Similarly, it is possible to recognize when a politician and/or their advisors hold views which are hate-filled and contemptible.

Ironic how arguably the most ruggedly masculine US president in history would today be derided as a dirty liberal or even commie. I'm talking about Theodore Roosevelt, of course.

The way the US is set up currently, the only winners in an election are the capitalist/owning class. The left hasn't had an ally in office since at least Jimmy Carter, if not FDR. And even FDR was problematic.

I'm running a 1.5 TB M.2 SSD for my C drive, another 1TB M.2 SSD for games/random stuff that I want faster access to, and then a 4TB RAID5 array on 3x 7200 rpm hard drives.
