this is a good reminder that i picked up your book from my local public library after you suggested exercises for my class & i love it! i'm figuring out who i can send a gift copy to in my life <3
i'll be using some of the exercises in my spring enviro justice class if not this fall one!

oh the library does a lot for me! it's fabulous actually. they mail books to my house 4 states away! i just mean that i'm certainly exacerbating the general problems because of the needs of online course design.

i think abt this as an asynchronous online prof. i request ebooks from the uni library and upload pdfs so that we can do social annotation as a class -- one of the most effective ways I've seen to get students to look at a reading. but not great practice in solidarity w libraries and publishing.

this is seriously maybe the fussiest puppy lap-sit i've experienced 😂 he keeps groaning and kicking his feet out since his civil disobedience isn't stopping me from looking at the screen.

he's now on my lap and trying hard to keep his face on top of my hand, so that at least if i'm gonna work, he's gonna be part of it. he's pretty sure the work day is supposed to be over though.

you do not need to be sorry. I am sorry and angry on your behalf that you are forced into this situation. I will share your fundraiser.
