As-promised halloumi posting. This is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten- “chef’s choice” chicken and hummus wrap with extra fried halloumi from Bowl + Bread in Bristol. I went back and had another a few days later, this time with hot sauce. Highly recommended- I’m still dreaming about this.

I love hotels, and I specifically love historic hotels- the ones with the most accommodating front desk staff, a grand staircase, and TripAdvisor reviews that make you wonder why people don’t choose the Holiday Inn across the street if they prioritise “recently updated” over “beautiful.”

Let's finish this up- Bristol Comedy Garden, Sunday 2/2. We had a substitute host (which is still not updated on the BCG website), Ian Smith. He was hilarious and made quick work of warming up a tough crowd that was impatient to get to their headliner. Absolutely impressive how well he handled it.
