Works reasonably well on Steam Deck too if you grab a community controller profile. I don't have any complaints about the game only have minor stuff that I think would be cool for future patches, like paths being auto extended if you draw them to the border and a random item tool

Very much enjoy the process of walking/ flying around after building a thing looking for nice photographs. It feels very much like the experience irl photography. Also enjoy switching the build into all the other themes once it's done just for fun. I recommend it if you haven't checked it out

v good post, for me creating art is messy and experimental and the rigid structure of programming (and formal game design practices too) really work against me. in all my other non game dev arty stuff I morph and adjust my process with the art so makes sense for that to be the same for games too

I've been really focusing a lot of my efforts so far into making the raw gameplay feel sublime but I've recently started working on some more gamey systemsy stuff so it's actually turning into a real game now

Hmm I think all I do is just quickly zoom the camera ever so slightly in and out but I did implement it a little while ago
