It’s the fact that people find this not only acceptable but desirable that truly alarms me. This is not normal. People want to normalize the most abhorrent behavior in people with tremendous power over communities.

The reality of it all, is that this is grim. You can have fifteen degrees and 30 years of teaching this and although I respect it with my whole heart, I have lived experience. The corrosive arrogance started years ago. The blow to Helm’s Deep (for my LOTR nerds) was Jan 6.

I tend to dislike with a passion anything remotely musical… but it works here and with Adventure Time.
The whole thing is written so well and the themes are super real. The episodes are short too, so I’m surprised that everything flows without losing purpose.
