I started that way, but decided I want lighting effects, so they're lit now. I'm just tightly controlling how color and shadow appear.

quick process images—starting with vibe shots, basically doodling while looking at a moodboard. Then sketching an outline in Blender with the knife tool, and feeling out shapes / verticality from there. Exporting to Unity constantly to walk around and get a feel for the place

Yeah, this is a single mesh at the moment, shaping by hand. Sort of an experiment, was struggling to sketch what I had in mind. Very organic process, just putting shapes where it feels like they should go.
