Facebook Portal. Yes I know it's 'Old Tech' but being disabled it was useful for reminders and the Alexa function, video calls and Spotify. Meta's deliberate withdrawing of these systems / apps is bordering on criminal. Do you think I could get a refund from Amazon?

Peripheral neuropathy, great thing to have. Go to cut some wire with a Stanley knife and take out the base of your thumb as well.... Can't decide whether to super glue it or just add it to the interesting hand scars collection. Proper wire cutters ordered.

Ah well.... Physiotherapist ain't too happy. Not worried about me and doing the exercises, that's OK. Problem is the top of left leg muscle tone is vanishing before my / their eyes. Upshot is the buggers won't discharge me. #HipReplacement

Six week plus one day hip install update. Well that's the carers signed off, don't know who was more pleased to get rid, them or me. Managed to get the awful TED stockings off, the relief is bloody fantastic. Standard none elastic socks on for now but do have some graduated pressure stockings

6 week hip update.... In theory from today I can reduce the 'Hip Precautions' for the new install as trying to get on with my life. In practice went outside to fiddle with pick up and realised I am not quite there yet. #HipReplacement

Just had Care Team Manager in. They are happy, physio happy and I'm reasonably happy. Visits down to one in evening, to keep an eye on pressure stockings etc. Carers end 2nd Jan - 6 week point from install of the new hip so pressure stockings can go and most hip precautions too. #HipReplacement
