Hmm if demand for Chinese goods in the US decreases due to tariffs, the Chinese will have increased supply for the people they're not in a trade war with and may switch to alternative suppliers for the goods they buy. Hmm I wonder if a cheap Chinese frigate, sub or jet is as good as a downgraded US?

History would suggest bombing someone doesn't always make them unwilling to attack you (Pearl Harbour ) and that removing their capacity to attack you in one way may delay attacks for a time, but simply leads them to innovate.
Also hadn't there been no attacks on shipping since January?

US tourists count as export earning for the places they visit, increasing the trade deficit and therefore earning the penguins a trumped up tariff. Please declare yourself Canadian when you come visit.

US tourism counts as export earnings by the places they go, so when US citizens visit somewhere it increases the US trade deficit and the poor country gets hit with tariffs. Luckily many US citizens soon won't be able to afford to travel to fulfill their fantasies.

The New Zealand prime minister says we won't impose tariffs back. Not that it matters a lot of us won't be buying US anymore, if they want to pay more for the food we sell and end up buying less there's plenty of others that will buy it.

Taxes are like loaves and fishes. Everyone is worthy of being feed, but only if those who have the most contribute to the basket will everyone be fed. If you think it's unfair those with the fullest baskets give the most, you're forgetting the unfairness that filled their basket at others expense.

I never really understood what gaslighting was till I heard vance's speech in Greenland. Bernie's right there's a reason Greenland, Mexico and Canada aren't asking to become the next state. While others are wanting to join the EU.
