Thank you! And if you're the one going to sleep (it's kinda hard to tell with how you wrote that), have a good sleep!

I am honestly the least confident about the start; but let's be real, who starts a story because they're super excited for the BEGINNING?

The job title listed was “Administrative assistant,” over the phone they said it was sales, and when he actually started describing it at least mentioned being up on roofs. Confusing as hell.

I relate to birds that way. They're very hyper-alert little critters.

I could drop the first two, but it really dances on the line between comic and storybook like my other recent pages and I wrote it to read best in 4 page batches.

I was talking about cryptids, I’m pretty sure cuttlefish are real!

If I had to describe who I am in terms of Obscure Cryptids, I aspire to be Gef the Mongoose but I'm actually just the Squonk, I just cry and melt away because people call me ugly.

What kind of goals? Idk, gender, maybe? I just wish to embody the "Weird little freak and goddamn proud of it" energy that Eighth Wonder has. It just feels aspirational to me.

Sites like Indeed spam me with bullshit SO much I admit my instinct when I get an alert that I get an email from them is to just delete it because 99.9% is just junk and I'm sorry if I miss the .1% of the time it's actually something useful

Such a fucking smug, vile, repugnant cunt. I hope there's a long, drawn out battle with lung cancer for her before she goes out, I need her to suffer.

Me, drawing something funny only a VERY PARTICULAR group of people will get: HAHAHAH, yes, this is great! Me, realizing I may want to share it with more people: Aw shit, what the fuck

I really do need to set up something like that. The vast majority of my ideas come when I'm doing something else (eating, walking, showering, whatever) and sometimes they slip back out before I get them down. I have been getting better at scribbling down thumbnails of concepts I wanna do.

The worst part is, I know sometime in the past couple years I came up with a name that was good for a website and/or a comic series and was like "Huh, that would make a sick name, oh well" and FORGOT it

Forgot to put the “Explain your lore but poorly” part but y’all figured it out lol.

Also I am completely aware that there was a thread about how artists should feel free to not post art at a breakneck pace I'm one of those people who saw that and said "WELL I'M DIFFERENT my life is practically WORTHLESS if I'm actively putting out art!"

Just low commitment. I know my damn ADHD by now. Either way, I probably need my own webspace to host the best of my art. If I have can an easily readable archive of my artsy fatsy, huffing my own farts "goo is a metaphor for being queer and neurodivergent" comics on the same space that'd be great.

I've done webcomics in the past; two of them, actually, and I don't really wish to do a traditional story again. What I've been plotting in the background is more just shorter stories I can build on top of but also, if I burn out or just take a long break there's no cliffhanger or anything lol
