It's such a clever, well thought through show with genuinely surprising and emotionally affecting plot twists! AND it is the most ridiculous bit of idiocy I have ever seen (complimentary)

(So far my main focus in recommending it is in being clear that it is the single most @brandtandstein.com coded anime I have ever seen!)

It's so difficult to talk about because every episode overwrites everything that came before with so much incredibly loud and incredibly sincere nonsense. I love that stupid show so much.

Honestly, I think the big selling point that doesn't get too in the way is "a serious mecha show where one single robot is a Saturday morning cartoon robot who sings his own theme song"

This is the most on brand fact imaginable

Every time I think about painting tau I trip and fall and end up looking at gundams again...

The concept of a wedding party is so artificial. You two are both delightful and I know it doesn't help much but... just try to find the shape of wedding that DOES work for you. We had parents, my brother, and Helena's best friend in the room for the paperwork and then pretty much went to the pub.

It turns out that taking a sharp, well written comedy and casting it entirely with hot people who play every scene like it's foreplay is EXACTLY what I want from theatre?

IT'S SO PERFECT! I just saw it tonight too and I'm completely in love.

This just makes Ted look like a coward! I can't believe I have a nemesis who can be defeated by a weird piece of toast

His name is Charles and he has crippling anxiety.

If this is the worst thing you've ever sent Ted, I think you need to step up your game! I'm disappointed by the standards being set here. This is AMAZING.

Oh no he IS. the poor boy, he's never done anything wrong in his life and THAT WON'T STOP US FROM BREAKING HIS HEART

I love reverse engineering a character so that every feature is chosen specifically to make his end point hurt more. Sometimes writing is FUN

It's GREAT. perfectly captures the absurd theatre and energy of wrestling.

There are just so many wonderful idiots who I love sharing stories with and making things happen with. If I had to do it all in my own, I'd have stopped long before my first book!

Comics are hard! But it's always the people that keep me plugging away at this ridiculous industry.

There are some quite fun bits in that game but HOOOOO BOYYYY IS IT RACIST

YES THIS. I'm developing a new thing with someone else at the moment and the "scream into a shared document" phase is so, so rewarding.

My sourdough starter finally died last month and I feel freed from a burden! And now I am making kimchi, so I guess I have a fundamental need for something alive in the back of my cupboards.
