No, you don't need your parents in the room, you're 18 so it would be weird if they called them in.
You tell the psychiatrist why you're there, and they ask you questions like "why do you think you have that" and then they ask u general life questions.

I've been training consistently for like 3 months bit it's still hard to default male to strangers haha.
Although today I've noticed it's gotten slightly easier to speak in my masc voice? I've seen people comment that in their first week they started to reach lower tones so idk.

I know it's redundant but it's capitalism, the government could easily assign like basic 2 rooms to all homeless people and give access to proper rehabilitation. But they won't, and they never will.
