ENDORSEMENT: In working with Rep. Noor, I've learned what it means to stand up for your community and empower them with your voice. He has a wonderful vision for his entire district, including Cedar-Riverside, I look forward to working with him to make that vision a reality.

It's also the day for my favorite meme! If this aging Klingon warrior can get it right, so can anyone.

ENDORSEMENT: Rep. Fue Lee has been a steadfast voice for North Minneapolis. His work at the Capitol around bonding has been crucial for the MPRB and our shared communities. I couldn't be happier to have his support and intergovernmental partnership. Support the team at: olsenforparks.org/donate

ENDORSEMENT: Commissioner Greene embodies what it means to be a good partner. The MPRB and County often cross paths, and maintaining a strong working relationship is critical to our institutions functioning effectively. I look forward to continuing to work with her!

ENDORSEMENT: Rep. Katie Jones is so many things I strive to be; smart, industrious, bold, and a damn good advocate for her community. She has been a wonderful partner both at the Capitol and Minneapolis. I'm truly honored to have her support!

Full bike parking at Wooden Ship Brewing. You love to see it!

Katie has worked diligently to serve her constituents over the last year and I am proud to endorse her for re-election. She has been a vital partner for the County and has ensured that our levels of government can work together effectively. Katie leads with compassion (1/2)

ENDORSEMENT: Rep. Jamie Long has been equal parts mentor and partner as we both work, in our own ways, to advance bold climate action in Minnesota. I'm grateful for his support and couldn't be happier to have him as my State Representative!

I listed my endorsements when I launched, but I'd like to take the time over the next couple of weeks to highlight each one individually. Sen. Scott Dibble is a Minneapolis trail-blazer who knows what it means to stand up for what's right...

1 day later, the Walz return-to-office thing seems an even bigger fuckup. No consultation with unions (I remember state labor friends telling me months ago Walz admin was needlessly adversarial in dealings) + lots of replies here about buildings subleased or otherwise can’t handle. Weird own goal.

You cannot make this shit up. Sharing this jaw-dropping story with a gift link -- give it a read.

I'm honored to have the support of the Minneapolis Regional Labor Federation, AFL-CIO!!! As a DFLer, I take the "L" seriously. We must stand with workers through thick and thin, not just when it's easy or politically convenient.

This is just a nudge to add the Minneapolis DFL caucus on Tuesday April 8th @ 7pm to your calendar! At the caucus, you will elect delegates who will vote on which candidates to endorse at the Ward (City Council) and City (Mayor, Park Board, BET) conventions. Visit MinneapolisDFL.org for details!

Main St is currently owned by the Park Board from Hennepin to 3rd. CM Rainville, new city arts director, others seem quite open to pedestrianization of that section, at least for summer events, weekends, etc. Maybe we can explore a land swap so that the city can lead on that?

When we show up and fight for policies that prioritize working people, we win. Lefist populism is the name of the game for the rest of the 2020s.

This would be silly if it weren't so sad. We have a model to end homelessness, just look to what Hennepin County did to end veteran homelessness. Instead of seriously discussing something like that, we are pushing people around for way too much money.

⚡️FIGHT THE OLIGARCHY RALLY ⚡️ STARTING TOMORROW. Nevada. Arizona. Colorado. You, me, and Bernie. Dem and GOP districts. ❤️💙 See you there 💪🏽🌞

"MN state Sen. Justin Eichorn allegedly arranged to meet someone he thought was a teenage girl for sex and instead was arrested by police ... One of Eichorn’s recent official acts was being among 5 Republicans who are seeking to dub 'Trump derangement syndrome' as an official mental illness"

Looking at this, it’s not clear and probably not correct. Technically, the Woonerf was the eastern portion of The Mall, which wasn’t going to be touched by MCES. A lot of this is living in a grey, so keep pressuring your commissioners. Will update when I learn more.

Woohoo!

Thrilled to announce that I'm running to be the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board Commissioner for District 4! We have a truly special parks system, and I believe that by working together we can make them even better. Find out more and support me at: jordanforparks.org

In the MN special election yesterday, Dems outperformed 10% over November. And we broke the record for turnout in a MN special election. Democrats are fired up! Bad sign for GOP in 2026.

I'm happy to have your (and so many others')support!

I have been overwhelmed by all of the support I've seen over the past 24 hours! We still need a little help fundraising a bit more so I can share my vision beyond social media. Any amount helps! olsenforparks.org/donate

Appreciate the support!!

Thanks for the kind words and support!!

Imperfect teeth are in right now!

Thank you for your support!

I think I need that front tooth capped but I can’t bear to do it. Anyway …

Tom rocks!! He is knowledgeable on the issues and an all around great guy! When we talk it’s clear how much he loves our parks and wants ours city to be green! Hope y’all can join me in supporting him 🤗

Happy to be perfectly forgettable!

🚨Endorsement Alert: There've been times I've forgotten what his name is because it's so generic. But Tom Olsen (with an E) is a bright spot on the Park Board. Because this is such a low profile office, I want you to know as early as possible that he deserves your support.

If there's one thing I know about Tom it's that he cares deeply about people-focused policy ensuring our parks are accessible for all. Just this week I watched him make calls to successfully stop efforts to prioritize parking over parks--and he won! Give him a follow and donate if you can!

Yay Tom! 🗳️
