Current problems mostly related to staff shortages. Some balloons aren’t getting launched. Some forecast offices can’t operate 24 hrs/day. But, the real nightmare isn’t inaccurate weather forecasts. It’s going to be: “impossible nowcasts”. What’s a “nowcast”( glad you asked, read next thread…🧵
