- Taka's betrayal of mufasa was stupid
- I feel like the majority of the plot issues in the movie could be fixed by just making the 2 actual brothers and not adopted.
- none of the characters were interesting enough to care about, the lion trio were so boring in the second half

Things i didnt like:
- some of the cgi looked awful.
- The script still had that annoying tendency to think the audience is stupid and needs everything spoken.
- I felt the villian was a little weak because they never showed us his power. Oh no he kills other lions..yea and?

Things i liked:
- I liked that we got to see the characters be more expressive, would this have been better in 2d? Yes of course, but its still nice.
- I think the songs were catchy, and the vocal performances were great.
- I liked the sibling dynamics, until i didnt

Overall, i know i gave some rather harsh criticisms but I did enjoy it.
I was very afraid i wouldn't but i did, I'm happy with the product I saw. Theres just a few things i think would have made it even better
7.5/10 its gonna be popular

- The world building was awful. If you are going to create an adaptation, you need to treat it as its own stand alone property. Not everyone has the luxury of going to see wicked live, so there will be people confused about whats happening in the world of oz, hell ive seen it but i was confused

- For the film being about as long as the full show, i felt that there was very little added to justify that runtime. I HATEEEE that they didnt add anything to elphaba's and Fyiero's romance. They have 2 conversations and she they fall for each other come on

- As much as I said i liked the cgi, theres a certain charm that you lose when using it rather than practical fx and costumes. I know the gimmick is to make it look "real" but it doesnt look real, it looks manufactured.

Now the parts i didnt like.
- I know live singing has been a trait of movie musicals for a while now, but i need it to stop. Especially when i can hear you switch to the studio recording mid song. Its distracting, if i wanted to hear them sing live, id go watch the show.

- There was a moment during popular that i loved, the camera work was amazing.
- Idina and Kristen making an appearance made me tear up.

Lets start with the things I liked.
- I felt the cgi was actually very good, there were a few distracting moments where the soundstage became obvious, but overall i was impressed
- The acting was good for the most part
- I felt they did a good job with modernizing the songs
