My heart dropped to my stomach when I saw this. I know we know you only parasocially, but you and George Takei have been shining examples of humans who've used your star power for good. Gen AI is a soulless corporate disease that continues to devastate creative communities. PLEASE. Not you too.

This dude has been greasily coasting on his Draco role since childhood. It's his moneymaker. Few new roles, no notable academic achievements like Emma or Broadway credits like Daniel. Trust, he is going to pucker his lips against that keister for as long as humanly possible.

I'm being genuine when I say I think about SW often as a source of strength. Specifically, I remember watching them as a kid and sitting through all the Rebellion's lowest points, and with my narrative foresight begging them to hold on because I knew a happy end was coming. All they needed was time.

Absolutely demoralized and devastated by the general indifference to this outside artistic circles. "We don't need you anymore, we can just get an LLM to write us whatever we want with your data," is such a hell of a thing to respond to. Unpaid hours of my life spent so some loser can cash in.

Ethical. 👏 Leadership. 👏 PERIOD. Thank you for going to war for your constituent. This has all been such wicked business, and it gives me hope that there are senators like you who are willing to get out from behind their desks and fight for our people. He is ours. We don't rest until he's home.

Hilarity aside, no greater nightmare for the facially blind.

His administration is being shadow-run for him. Trust me, Drumpf has pleeeeenty of time to Dorian Gray himself.

The most decent among us are too embarrassed to even ask.

Everybody shush for a second and let me imagine a heartbreakingly beautiful world where these two people are president and vice president, we earn the trust and respect back from our allies, walk around without targets on our backs for being POC or GSRM, and have medical care for all.

My tortoise and his cavernous bottomless maw of a stomach has been my dictator for years, so I've had some practice not caving to 24/7 demands. ... somewhat. He's the most adorable boss I've ever had.

This is the crime-fighting duo America needs. Stay safe, you two. You carry an incredible message between you, and with it, the hope and love of many people.

This post exhausts me to tears. There were so many opportunities in this bleak timeline to do the right thing, to be a great leader, a good man, to take risks, to turn your back on Wall Street, to be unafraid. You have so many words for us, senator. What we wanted from you was a spine.

Can you or someone on your team brief us on what tools we have left? Those of us who are boycotting, supporting the ACLU, and protesting will continue to do so, but I'm increasingly seeing a dearth of options government-side. There are an increasing number of missing boards in this ship.

Populist appeal is historically far more dangerous than intelligence, sadly, but I really appreciate the sentiment of not rolling over. What someone REALLY needs to do is enable his McDonalds intake as some Darwinian descendant takes notes.

Stop it. You gave away the last meaningful minuscule lever of power you still had in this administration -- and you gave it away for nothing. We got NOTHING for this. Conservatives and DJT are deliriously celebrating right now because your courage and compassion were absent today. How dare you.

Thank you for doing the right thing. I wish with all my heart that all your colleagues had found the courage and compassion to do the same.

Whatever else you do tonight: put everything down, take off your glasses, and meet your own gaze in the mirror for a full minute. If it's difficult, there's a reason. If it's not, then you have never once cared about the millions of vulnerable Americans you just condemned to medical poverty.

A shutdown would give him a *temporary* key to the city, state, and country as you work on a deal, but leaves you the power to change the locks later. This bill gives him a permanent skeleton key. The courts can undo the damage done during a shutdown. They can't undo THIS.

Appeasement does not work. You can't give an inch expecting to ever regain that inch. You have to look at the cost/benefit analysis and recognize that a reversible short-term hurt isn't comparable to this irreversible long-term hurt. It's not too late to do the right thing.
