I call Rep. Chris Smith almost weekly. He hasn't had a town hall since 1993. He doesn't even live in New Jersey. His phone line is never busy. I wish more people would call.

I do think consistently drinking beyond your limit in your 40s is a bit of a warning sign, but this story line was designed to propel Janet and Jason to the forefront. I didn't care for Janet already, but I'm disappointed that Jason is such a go-along, even at the expense of his friend.

My local protest was reported as having an attendance of "about 100". The rally filled up the entirety of a small park with people lined up down the block. It was easily triple that number.
