For a beauty break, you can't beat the Eagle Nebula. It's home to the famous Pillars of Creation, and also to this amazing "tower of starbirth," newly imaged in honor of the Hubble telescope's 35th anniversary. 🧪🔭 esahubble.org/news/heic2507/

Happy 35th Birthday to the Hubble Space Telescope!! 🔭 I had pictures of Hubble on my wall as a kid. And now I'm an Astronomer. What a journey 🤯

HAPPY 35TH BIRTHDAY TO THE BEST TELESCOPE EVER!! THANK YOU FOR GIVING US SUCH BEAUTIFUL AND ICONIC IMAGES OVER THE YEARS!!! 🌌🤩

Happy birthday to the Hubble Space Telescope, launched from the Kennedy Space Center #OTD in 1990. Here's to a remarkable 35 years of imaging the Cosmos. 🧪 🔭 ⚛️ Leave your favorite Hubble images in the replies!

Hubble has spent 35 years in orbit! 🥳 Celebrate with an array of compelling images recently taken by Hubble: Mars, dramatic views of stellar birth and death, and a magnificent spiral galaxy: bit.ly/4jjsAs7 🔭 🧪

Sometimes there’s a steep learning curve to #astrophotography. Last night was a struggle to focus my Sky-Watcher 127 to my new ASI662MC. This only compounded by my complete inability to plate solve, so I could only rely on manual polar alignment. I guess it’s to the YouTubes. #astronomy #space

A beautiful spiral for your timeline! 🔭 This is the NGC-6956 galaxy, as seen by Hubble in 2021! It is located some 214 million light years away from us. I really have fun each time I process Hubble data like this one 😊 HD: flic.kr/p/2qXnhqZ

This isn't OFFICIAL news, but it's still something I think deserves a post on here. The wikis for UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE have moved off Fandom! They can now be found at undertale.wiki and deltarune.wiki !

I can't deal with any more politics today. Ironically, I joined BlueSky with the intent of focusing on photography and art. And then the world went boom. Here are some deep-sky objects you don't see very often! The main object is the 'Spider Nebula' (IC 417), a rich star-forming region in the constellation Auriga. Above that is the 'Fly Nebula' (NGC 1931), a reflection and emission nebula. One quick night of imaging during a break in the clouds!
