Yes. Most UK nuclear power stations are built on the coast, so vulnerable to rising sea levels and coastal erosion during the 100,000 year duration of the radioactively contaminated materials being present.

The relevant issue is that having pushed the can down the road for ~20 years, it is now obvious farming has to start changing *now* to meet targets and a lot of people in the sector don't want to change at all.

Add to that the redefining of antisemitism as opposing Israel's actions and you get a German state that is fine with prosecuting Jews and non-Jews alike in the name of 'fighting antisemitism.' The most mundane of pro-Palestine events are thus turned into an existential crisis for the state.
