If Trump isn't prevented from seizing the power of the purse from Congress, then we no longer live in a Constitutional Republic. We live in a dictatorship. The power of the purse is specifically allocated to Congress by the Constitution.

At this point I think I've just accepted the fact that the world I live in is satire. It doesn't matter how stupid or ridiculous any idea is, because half of the population will always believe it and it will often become official public policy.
