Doctors in surgery in Nassau County are going to be a lot more free with their spit. Or gum. Or tobacco juice. Right over your surgical incision. Splat.

Did you just unintentionally reveal the next FF character? Or maybe the plot of the next film? 🐳

I should have told my kid to go to VMI instead.

In the plan, the military strategists assumed all captured Canadian territory would remain part of the USA after the hypothetical war. After WWI, the US came up with multiple color-coded defensive strategy plans for war with other countries. The UK/Canada war plan was not unique - except in design.

Have you ever heard of ā€œWar Plan Redā€? It was a pre-WWII, hypothetical military exercise, in which the USA made plans to defend itself in a strategic war with the UK - in this particular contigency - by invading Canada. Brian K. Vaughn uses it as a basis for his graphic novel "We Stand on Guard".

Some maybe. Those detained are tried in groups w/o chance to see the evidence against them. The prison was built to fulfill a campaign promise ā€œcool dictatorā€ Bukele made. Meanwhile he negotiated with gangs to reduce homicides. But there is no plan to release anyone inside. Ever.

Ugh. I think it was Crazytown. Well, let’s say it was a learning experience.

Still, 66>99 and 87>8 #Letsgopens. FWIW, USA>Trump-Putin. Even I can’t resist letting my partisan colors show. I’m a Pittsburgh sports fan first I guess. Well, congrats anyway.

And I’ll say this too, sports have always been touched by politics. It didn’t start or end with Jackie Robinson or Muhammad Ali or Kaep and the anthem. It’s probably just going to get more political. But that doesn’t mean that the game is gone.

I keep forgetting to say it, but I really appreciated this response. Your pony is beautiful. Thank you for your service! And him too!

The best way to get back legitimacy is to show respect for others and yourself. Perhaps Trump would be dead before ever being extradited to a foreign court, but certainly not all those who aided and abetted him. If you want peace, work for justice.

However, if the rules-based order is ever re-established, the USA would do well to consider signing up for the ICC. Even if you don’t think Trump or his allies have committed any crimes, they have certainly burnt America’s goodwill on a global stage.

They say it’s communist at the top. I guess good things are bad now.

What’s the matter? He said ā€œday 1ā€ was sarcastic! Don’t you get the joke? Ha ha ha. We’re all doomed.

I believe they’re being replaced with AI. Whether that will make it worse or better? Can’t say.

Can’t I just want my team to win? Every game? An unreasonable expectation maybe, but rooting for losing feels heartless and more unreasonable. In fair play, the weight should be on GMKD and draft luck to make this team champs again. My brain knows better, but I just can’t root for the other team.

Unanswered question: Will a Canadian team win the Stanley Cup this year?

Some fights are worth having, even if you lose. Maybe this is the one. Maybe this isn’t. What is the next fight?

Schumer is worried about leverage. The shutdown fight looks like leverage, but it might wind up with a worse result.

Maybe the shit the Dems vote for in the end is to eliminate the Dept of Ed or EPA or FEMA. Maybe they pass legislation to give ā€œDOGEā€ all your private data.

It might mean that the Trump admin controls what functions stay on during the shutdown. Then, when the Dems come back to the table, they might have to offer concessions as to what parts of the govt are ā€œfraudā€ or how much power ā€œDOGEā€ has, or worse.
