that's the question that elected democrats have to ask themselves.

there's way too much energy being spent on the like two dozen girls who just want to play basketball with their friends or something. but its important because its a litmus test. do you care about fact-based policymaking or not? do you care about other people even when its hard to spin politically?

this isn't about trans girls in sports per se. unfortunately, in society, a bunch of shitty stuff happens to a lot of people, and unfortunately you have to focus your energy on things that affect more people.

"UM ACTUALLY the united states has always had two right wing parties" okay yes this has always been true but there are degrees here and it has definitely gotten worse

imho this really started when obama got the largest mandate in modern political history and decided to spend it by implementing the fucking R's healthcare plan a decade and a half later we have a left that can't promise anything and a right that promises the moon and lies about achieving it

a citizen's, or a population's, political opinions aren't fucking static- they are bound by the sorts of media that they see around them. if the democrats move to the right on something, that doesn't read as the democrats being reasonable. that reads as the new position as the new left wing position

democrats keep fucking thinking that if you move to the centre and have no principles. that this will appeal to more voters, disillusioning any real leftists. meanwhile the republicans have been eating their lunch since 2010 by continually moving right and pulling the electorate with them

the questions of "biological advantages", "safety of women", etc etc, are completely settled in any scientific context. there is no risk. the only question is if you are willing to do things that you think are politically inconvenient or if you're going to stand up for what is right

Certifications mean something. Brand names, such as tournament organizers, mean something. Calling yourself a judge means something. If you are willing to hire people, or certify people, who show flagrant disrespect and have shown that they are not trustworthy, then I don’t know what you stand for.

according to this, you carefully sound out the word, look at complex linguistics principles, and then disregard all of it and roll your face on the keyboard

I don't think "wife at 100% strength" is struggling with jet lag, playing like dogshit, and a 5-4 winrate
