About the only thing libs can do is compare some awful thing of their own making to "what happens in those scary coutries"
The USA is the second scariest country in the world right now (Israel is a country), and they still can't fathom their own evil.
I keep saying this and will continue.

He introduces himself as a senator seconds before the take down.
LEOs that are this blind and stupid are not fit for purpose. And that's the generous reading of it. The cynical one is that they knew *exactly* what they were doing and relished the task.

It's not unfathomable that an American can be evil on their own, without external influence (Putin, Netanyahu, Xinping, the Boogyman).
USA is enough.
Israel is USA's tool in the middle east, not the other way around.

Always the origin of evil must come from outside the USA.
Why Russia? Or China, or any of the other bogeymen from *outside*?
Yall have to start believing that the USA itself is capable of being wrong and bad.

Yeah that's fair. It's just not plausible to blame EVs when this stuff gets built.
Of course politicians will still do it. Plausibility or facts don't really bother politicians either way.

Nvidia just demoed a single server rack sized mega-GPU that draws 120,000 watts.
That's 2 full EV batteries every second.
A data centre could have hundreds of these.

The admin is waiting for the first (at this point completely reasonable and likely morally obligated) lethal use of the second amendment, aren't they?

That there is a nightmare scenario that most (all) humans would fail even more spectacularly.
Not to stan elon or anything but that's about as bad a situation as it gets.
Is the benchmark "human" or "perfect" here? There's a good argument for both.

Let's say that I didn't think I retained the capacity to be shocked and disgusted anymore, but was proven very wrong.

I'd tweak that ratio a little to 99:1
I think the problem here is so much code is boilerplate or syntactic stuff, and the actual thinking part can be pretty well abstracted from the code part.

Raised voices do not work for this. It's the wrong tool.
You mentioned the constitution. There's a bit in there very close to the beginning that is designed for this *exact* situation.

Just prisons generally.
The system doesn't fit it's stated purpose (but fits it's un-stated purpose beautifully which is why it's still there)

With loud public declarations of "no due process", the media need to stop using the word "arrest" and substitute the more accurate (and at this point legally defensible in a defo case) "kidnapping".
In this case it's also a carjacking really.
