I am afraid so, their education system is rather efficient.

I am sure he'll be educated that is not a proper behavior. The education might take a while.

Cannot blame any mangaka for that. Their work-life is inhumane.

Don't I know. In Chaosium there is a saying "there's never enough Katrin's art".

Railroading. Just last session one of my players asked if they could do something and I said no. Realized later I should have said yes, because now discouraged player initiative. My excuse was that there was a real time pressure, but still.

I should get one of Katrin’s prints when I have a chance to meet her next time.

The prime directive forbids me to run CoC but I have reserved this one for me.

I hope there is a Grognard Files interview coming!

I was using a Windows computer in the university, and later Mac, but I have absolutely no recollection of what kind of search engine or whatever those used back in the day. Later there was Altavista but what I used before that, no idea.

Hah! Well, that might explain some. I was 20 I guess.

Much later I searched again and found mentions about "RuneQuest Slayers" and though what kind of shit is that? A NuMetal band?

Maybe because it was the new shiny thing then, I had moved to a new university town and not used computer much before that, so to see what I could do with this thing called "internet" I tried to see what I could find about RQ. Not much, really.

The other thing I was searching for was the Western movies. I was very much into them even then.

I was a gamer without a gaming group, living in a new town, so I thirsted some connection to the favourite game of mine. Unfortunately I was not to play RQ for 20 years, always wanting though.

Yeah, it's hard to remember how it looked back in the day. It was so new and shiny then but now looks absolutely archaic.

Back in the day in Finland all the information I got from RuneQuest was from the Finnish RPG zines, as I hadn't seen any of the international zines. I was living inside a barrel, looking the world through a small hole. Internet would soon change that.

NICE! Those look very good!

It never stops amusing me how the horror games can be the funniest ones.

By the way, I love your profile picture from Japanese coffee brand Boss. It was the brand I always chose, mainly because of that picture.

The original art is by Gahan Wilson!?!

Want. No. NEED.

And kill forever their (and their loved ones) pleasure of watching movies.

I would like to see the original, because the more I look at it, the more eyesore it will become. He could have at least picked up someone who knows something about anatomy. It is hard to imagine Elmore NOT knowing how to draw a male torso. If I was him, I was more concerned of the quality.

Dungeons and Diversity is so toxic channel that it is hard to believe these guys were the ones marginalized back in the day. They should know better. I am a middle aged white western man and I heartily rejoice all the people joining the hobby. Except nazis and bigots. They’re not welcome anywhere.

I love to see pictures from the Con, so I know what I missed when decided to stay home and work instead.

That dude looks very weird. Somehow it's not anywhere near Elmore's usual quality and looks like someone had repainted the upper body and hands over it digitally. It is just amateurish compared to the demon. It's done 2017?

This was way too funny.

You're far too kind, Ross, thank you!

Thank you for lifting up the artists! While of course the mechanics are the thing that gets the people to return to the games, it's the art that makes those mechanics alive and brings visual enjoyment while playing.

I know at least one of that kind of Youtube channel. Absolute garbage. And for them the problem is not the game but that "wrong" kind of people play it, too. This hobby stays alive as long as there are new people playing and innovating it.

Oh I love that cover!

Every time I see this picture, it reminds me of the story Maitz told about it. He was needed something to mask the background when airbrushing that curve and the toilet seat cover happened to be the perfect thing for it.
